My Little Mad Scientist
I am a part-time writer, a teacher/football coach, and best of all a dad/husband. Writing is a great way to explore and educate.
I have spent my whole life driven by curiosity. Being a high school Physics teacher for almost 20 years in Orlando and Asheville has helped satisfy that craving for me. In those years, I have always strived to have fun, make people laugh and learn new things. Or at least new ways to learn old things. It is that love of new things that led me to writing.
I have a BA in Science Education from the University of Central Florida and a Masters of Arts in Physics Education from the University of Virginia. Growing, learning and sharing knowledge has truly enriched my life.
I have also been a high school football coach for all of those years. Coaching is a wonderful way to reach students….I am a better teacher because I coach and a better coach because I take teaching very serious. Combining Physics and football has always been fun; showing students that you can be smart and athletic at the same time.
I am currently hard at work on my next project, a humor book on the science of being a guy.
