Whacky Whirlybird

Make your own helicopter and watch it fly                                      

What You Do

1. To make the whirlybird, cut out the paper as the diagram             

shows you. Cut along the dotted lines. Fold along the solid   

lines.

2. Fold the bottom sides in. Fold the blades down until they are       

flat. The whirlybird should look like the letter T when done.

3. Place the paper clip at the bottom. Throw it up in the air and       

watch it fly.

4. Try adding more paper clips. Also, drop it from different       

heights. What works best?
